LOL, I don't think it was Sanzo's favorite subject either, but he's as subject to a sense of wonder as any of us, though he likes to hide it! I got to use some old memories in this one - we used to find fossils in road cuts in West Virginia when I was a kid.

I'm doing a bunch of short fics for the saiyuki_time community, but I can't guarantee they'll be angst free! You might like this one, though.
