I haz lovely Yuletide fic! Not only a beautifully written, intricate response to my main request, but two very tasty Treats! I am so so happy!

What I Got

Snakes and Sparrows   My main request, from Barry Hughart's Master Li and Number Ten Ox series. Our intrepid duo awake to an imperious visit from a court eunuch, who bears an message from a famous aging courtesan – who proves to have an intriguing shared past with Master Li and a particularly appetizing task for his young associate. Naturally, a priceless artifact is also involved.

Midnight   My first Treat, from the manga Legal Drug. Hot, hot luscious smut as Saiga distracts Kakei, whose worries over the boys and their mission are finally getting to him.

Easy to See   Also from Legal Drug, and a perfect counterpart to "Midnight," because it picks up my alternate prompt: how Saiga and Kakei first met!

Oh, the Legal Drug stories were lovely. Especially liked the one about how Saiga and Kakei first met. (It's cool that you got two stories for a series that I'm familiar with, I definitely enjoyed them, too. Sorry I'm not familiar with your primary request--it seems like a good fic, though).
